SQL Anywhere Workgroup Edition: Provides the SQL Anywhere software and licensing of various product components. The SQL Anywhere Workgroup Edition supports a maximum of 2 CPUs. SQL Workgroup products include:

SQL Anywhere Standard Edition
The SQL Anywhere Standard Edition products support a maximum of 4 CPUs. The Standard Edition includes everything in the Workgroup Edition plus SQL Anywhere High Availability and SQL Anywhere Monitoring. The SQL Anywhere Standard Edition products include:

SQL Anywhere Standard 5 User (v12.x, 11.0.1)
SQL Anywhere Standard (v12.x, 11.0.1)

SQL Anywhere Standard 5 User: Provides licensing for one SQL Anywhere (multi-user) Server and includes out of the box High Availability, database monitoring, MobiLink Synchronization Server and 5 User licenses granting each user licensing for a Networked Seat, SQL Anywhere Personal Database with Synchronization and QAnywhere, UltraLite with Synchronization and UltraLiteJ with Synchronization. For larger deployments, additional licenses may be purchased for individual components.

SQL Anywhere Standard 1 Chip License: Provides licensing for one SQL Anywhere (multi-user) Server and includes out of the box High Availability, database monitoring, MobiLink Synchronization Server, and licenses for an unlimited number of networked seats. Note: licensing for SQL Anywhere Personal Database with Synchronization and QAnywhere, UltraLite with Synchronization and UltraLiteJ with Synchronization is not included but additional licenses may be purchased for individual components.

SQL Anywhere Advanced Edition
The SQL Anywhere Advanced Edition products support unlimited CPUs. The Advanced Edition includes everything included in the Standard Edition plus SQL Anywhere In-Memory Mode, Replication Agent for SQL Anywhere and RSA FIPS Security. The SQL Anywhere Advanced Edition products include:

SQL Anywhere Advanced (v12.x, 11.0.1)

SQL Anywhere® Advanced 25 User: Provides licensing for one SQL Anywhere (multi-user) Server and includes out of the box High Availability, database monitoring, MobiLink Synchronization Server, In-Memory Mode, FIPS Security, 25 User licenses granting each user licensing for a Networked Seat, SQL Anywhere Personal Database with Synchronization and QAnywhere, UltraLite with Synchronization and UltraLiteJ with Synchronization. For larger deployments, additional licenses may be purchased for individual components, including FIPS Security.
